About PEKGEE

PEKGEE began in a tailor shop in Kuantan, where founder Peggy grew up watching her parents sew. What started with fabric scraps and Barbie doll clothes became a lifelong love for craftsmanship.

Today, every PEKGEE piece is handmade with the same patience, care, and attention to detail she learned from her parents — created for women who appreciate comfort, beauty, and slow living. ✨

Hi, I'm Peggy.

I grew up on the floor of my parents' tailor shop in Kuantan.

While my father was sewing uniforms for government officials and sultans, I was sitting in the corner collecting fabric scraps and making clothes for my Barbie dolls.

I spent countless hours beside my mother, watching her sew. I would tear pages from Japanese fashion magazines and bring them to my father.

"Abah, I want to make this. Can you teach me?"

No matter how busy he was, he never said no.

Those moments quietly shaped who I am today.

Then life happened.

Marriage. Children. Responsibilities. Bills.

Like many women, I placed my dreams on a shelf and focused on taking care of everyone else.

Years passed.

Then the world stopped during MCO.

In the stillness, I found myself returning to something I had always loved.

I started a small YouTube channel, simply sharing sewing tips and techniques. Nothing fancy. Just creating, teaching, and enjoying the craft that had always been part of me.

Almost a year later, people started asking if they could buy the pieces I was making.

That was the beginning of PEKGEE.

Not from a business plan.

Not from an investor pitch.

Just a sewing machine, a quiet afternoon, and a love for creating something meaningful.

Today, every PEKGEE piece still carries the values I grew up with.

My mother's standards — who would make me unpick the same seam again and again until it was right.

My father's patience — who taught a little girl long before she even knew how to thread a needle.

And a belief that beautiful things should be made slowly, carefully, and with heart.

If something about PEKGEE feels different, that's why.

Welcome to PEKGEE.

Handmade with patience. Made for slow, beautiful living.
